Covering the hidden border of the continents of Australia and Asia, the Arafura Sea is surrouned by the Coral, Timor, Banda and Ceram Seas between Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. The Molucca translation of 'Arafura' means 'children of the mountains'. There are mountains under this sea; it is not deep. It is warm, it is lush and teems with life. Much like this opal with its bright green translucent bottom.
