Your opal can arrive ready-to-wear on an inexpensive chain.

These fine-linked inexpensive chains are made from base and coloured metal and close with a parrot clasp.

Choose your colour

From experience, some of the darker ironstone-base opals look great on the dark nickel chain, the lighter ferrous sandstone and other matrix mixes suit the gold while the full-faced boulder opals, particularly in blues and greens look good on silver coloured chain.

Choose your length

• 18in/45cm ~ If you would like your opal to hang on your upper chest, choose the 18in/45cm length chain. Small stones should be hung on this length of chain.
• 36in/90cm ~ For a more dramatic look, particularly with the larger opals (40ct and more), you can choose the longer length of chain.

Side drilled opals will be threaded straight onto the chain. Top drilled opals be attached via matching a chain loop - see pic.
